Asst Dir, Disability Supp Serv Interprofessional Health Sciences
The Assistant Director reports to the Director of Disability Support Services (DSS), assists in the day-to-day management of DSS, and acts as the unit leader in the absence of the Director. The Assistant Director has primary responsibility for the Department at the Interprofessional Health Sciences Campus. The Assistant Director works collaboratively with the DSS staff to provide equal access to students with documented disabilities, including but not limited to: physical/mobility disabilities, learning disabilities, neurological conditions, sensory disabilities, attention deficit disorders, psychological disabilities, and chronic medical conditions. The Assistant Director reviews documentation presented by students who self-identify as having disabilities and/or other academic concerns. Determines and implements reasonable and appropriate accommodations, academic adjustments, and auxiliary aids in compliance with university policy and federal/state equal access laws.
Program Coordinator Student Support Services South Orange
Student Support Services SSS provides opportunities for academic development, assist students with basic college requirements, and to motivate students toward the successful completion of their post secondary education. The goal of SSS is to increase the college retention and graduation rates of its participants. The Program Coordinator will provide administrative, organizational, and technical support to the Student Support Services. This includes, but is not limited to, record keeping and data management, training and oversight to academic tutors, Peer Advisers, and support personnel. The Coordinator will have oversight of the Seton Hall University concierge space at the Gateway Center in Newark, NJ. The Coordinator will support the University’s strategic plan. This position will help the university expand brand recognition into Newark, NJ alongside the Seton Hall University School of Law and Men’s Basketball at the Prudential Center; expand recruitment efforts for graduate and undergraduate students; and assist in the engagement of the University’s extensive alumni base and basketball fan base. The Director of the Office of Grants and Research Services (OGRS) position is considered service rendered to the University. This is a 12-month position, comes with a stipend and reports to the Office of the Provost, specifically to the Associate Provost for Research and Innovation. The Seton Hall University Esports program is a 10-month Esports Head Coach position for League of Legends. The Head Coach will contribute to the implementation of Seton Hall’s strategic mission by managing the player and team esports experience. This position will serve as a general advisor for esports players and team within the SHU Esports program.
