The Coordinator of EOF Recruitment at Seton Hall University will be responsible for obtaining necessary knowledge of all aspects of Seton Hall University and Seton Hall University EOF. The Coordinator will act as a credible spokesperson for the University in a professional and friendly manner, counseling prospective EOF students and their families. The Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, and executing the interview process for EOP and PMPDPP.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Recruit prospective candidates from New Jersey “target” area schools who may or may not be eligible for the EOP & PMPDPP at Seton Hall University. Plans, develops, implements, attends, and evaluates programs, recruitment activities, and special projects. This includes all recruitment travel, fairs, high school visits, panels, consortiums, yield events, and other recruitment activities. Facilitates the EOP & PMPDPP planning, implementation, and execution of the interview process and informational sessions.
2. Builds relationships with high schools in their territory. Independently represents and promotes Seton Hall EOF at state and local recruitment events. Develops and implements outreach programs, events, and activities for recruitment and enrollment of students from targeted communities; enlists and coordinates faculty, students, and/or alumni, as appropriate, in various recruitment programs. Cultivates current SHU students and alumni in the region to assist in recruitment efforts.
3. This position requires extensive travel and work in the evenings and on the weekends. The Coordinator of EOF Recruitment will visit a minimum of 50 schools for Fall recruitment.
4. Counsels and advises prospective EOF students throughout the recruitment process. This includes, but is not limited to, being the primary point of contact for all prospective EOF students and applicants, as well as their parents, throughout the recruitment process. This will involve extensive outreach, including calling campaigns, email campaigns, and other targeted efforts. It also entails a deep understanding of Seton Hall's programs and services, as well as financial aid and the application process. Providing a full range of advisory and liaison services to prospective students and associated community constituencies regarding Seton Hall admissions and related issues.
5. Develop an annual recruitment calendar and a high school/community contact sheet consistent with Seton Hall University EOF, State, and Seton Hall admission criteria. Coordinate student recruitment activities on campus for prospective first-year candidates and transfer students in general, and EOP students, in particular
6. Compile statistical recruitment reports for the EOF leadership team that will assist and drive the decision-making process for our next recruiting cycle. During the fall and spring semesters, the Coordinator of EOF Recruitment will meet with the leadership team every week.
7. The Coordinator of EOF recruitment will be responsible for managing all social media accounts and the Seton Hall EOP and PMPDPP webpages.
8. Any other duties assigned by the EOF leadership team.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. At least one year of professional experience in college recruiting or advising.
3. At least one year of professional experience in the EOF, HEOP, TRIO, Upward Bound, and/or Student Support Services Field.

Salary Range:

48,000 - 66,000

Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt
