As an Office Coordinator for the Career Center, your primary responsibility is to facilitate the smooth operation of daily activities within the office. This includes administrative tasks such as managing student worker schedules, organizing event logistics, and coordinating weekly appointments. You'll also be responsible for greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing general support to students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, you may assist with updating and maintaining databases, preparing reports, and collaborating with other departments to promote career development initiatives. Overall, your role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient functioning of the Career Center and delivering quality services to students and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries.

Coordinate employer visits, manage the job board, and assist with outreach strategies.

Aid in event logistics and supervise our student workers.

Collaborate with the Director on administrative tasks like budget management, annual reports, and office maintenance.

Manage social media and promote campus events to engage various stakeholders.

Work closely with the Career Center's director to aid in inventory management, client services, outreach initiatives, and overall promotion of the Pirate's Closet mission.

Required Qualifications:

Associate degree, or vocational or technical school degree. 1-3 years of related work experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Salary Grade:

Staff Union (Local 153) - SU18.0

Exempt/Nonexempt: Nonexempt

Physical Demands: General Office Environment
