Duties and Responsibilities:
The GA will be responsible for managing the following:
alumni social media networks & strategies
alumni event/homepage web edits
social media ambassador program
content creation (audio/video content for web could include interviews, podcasts, articles,etc.)
This position also requires coverage of some weekend and evening events.
Applicants should possess strong writing skills, experience in public relations/marketing, social media strategizing, content creation and creative thinking for social media and digital campaigns. This position requires the candidate to see projects through from inception to completion independently. Candidate should be comfortable in creating dynamic content, managing various projects simultaneously, creating timelines and maintaining language consistency when promoting alumni events, benefits and services.
Applicants must possess an understanding of and willingness to support the Seton Hall University Catholic mission.
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in managing social media accounts (outside of personal accounts).
Experience with mass email systems such as Constant Contact or Mailchimp.
Experience in video/audio editing or production
Working knowledge of Associate Press styleguide.
Must be able to collect video and photos at events using camera or cell phone equipment. Carry 25 pound supplies up and downstairs.
