Grants Specialist, Office of Grants & Research in South Orange
Under the supervision of the Compliance, Grants and Grants Information Systems Manager, the core work is with faculty and university personnel to develop proposals for grants and contracts for research, teaching and education; responsible for proactive outreach and pre-award support, budget development, consistent application of the Office of Grants & Research Services (OGRS) policies and knowledge and use of grant systems locally and in funding agencies for grant application/subcontract processing and review. The office is part of the Provost's Office and closely works and cooperates with Corporate and Foundation Relations, Grants Accounting and other academic functions, and will perform the core work functions with those units as well, representing OGRS. Supports the Director and Grants and Grants Information Systems Manager with projects as assigned and assists in the work of support through the entire life cycle of grants.

Weekend Circulation Clerk in South Orange
This position provides essential customer service and staffing at the Walsh Library circulation desk and critical operations support within the Access Services unit during weekend hours, performing routine library functions (check out; check in; catalog search; account review, etc.) and clerical duties related to the circulation, retrieval, and organization of library materials using various computer systems. Assists in processing interlibrary loan and resource sharing requests for SHU Library patrons and partner libraries borrowing materials from SHU. Provides guidance and direction to library student workers. Monitors and reports building and maintenance issues. This position is designated as an essential employee and will be expected to staff the library during inclement weather conditions.

Director of Career Services and Strategic National Employer Outreach in Newark
Under direction of and with Assistant Dean of Career Services, develop and implement plan to expand school’s employment footprint nationally. Specifically, responsible for outreach in certain national markets, including New York and East Coast, Washington D.C, California and other West Coast markets. Travel as necessary to meet with potential employers including big law and corporate employers within those markets. Work with the office to maintain and improve the employment placement rate by researching job opportunities, marketing, and providing effective career counseling to students on a national level. Assist the Office of Career Services in other efforts to serve the employment needs of current Juris Doctor students and alumni, including maintaining a heavy counseling schedule, reviewing and editing student materials, assisting in the coordination and implementation of the Spring and Fall On-Campus-Interviewing and Resume Referral Programs, and managing and preparing students for the Big Law Pre-Cruitment process.

Peer Tutor - Academic Support Services for Student-Athletes - 2025/2026 in South Orange
The Office of Academic Support Services for Student-Athletes located in the Charles W. Doehler Academic Center for Excellence is seeking peer tutors for the 2025-2026 academic year. Peer tutors will work with students from our 14 intercollegiate sports teams in both individual and mini group sessions and also drop-in evening tutoring sessions.
