Adjunct Instructor of MBA Workshops in South Orange
The Seton Hall University English department seeks an instructor to lead three one-credit workshops (one full class in total) for MBA students in the Stillman School of Business. Each workshop meets for two consecutive Fridays in our fall semester. While each workshop would have a different topic, we hope to find one candidate to teach all three. The first is on "AI Prompt Generation," the second on "Crafting Business Plans," the third on "Concise Communication." Seton Hall University is located in South Orange, New Jersey, 14 miles from New York City. This position manages all space/classroom bookings, through use of 25Live, as well as event/classroom set-up and takedown. Responsible for independently, and/or in collaboration with departments, planning and preparation, execution and orchestration, and take-down and follow-up for all events taking place in the building. Lead, assist, and collaborate with colleagues on all internal professional events, symposia, conferences, Moot Court Competitions and the like, as well as external events for clients renting space in the building. Provide menu planning support and facilitate catering orders for events of all sizes and types. This role ensures client satisfaction by managing logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships and leading the delivery of a seamless event.
