Cataloging Librarian in South Orange
The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of the full life cycle of print and electronic library resources to ensure accurate representation on the shelves and in integrated library and archival systems. In addition, the Cataloging Librarian will have outstanding communication and organizational skills to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues. Working closely with the Assistant Dean of Information Technology and Collection Services, Electronic Resources Librarian, and Acquisitions Librarian, the incumbent will oversee and manage all aspects of metadata and deliver a seamless experience to users regarding the access and discovery of library resources and services. This position will play an integral role in working cooperatively with units across the library to develop workflows and services that enhance access to our rich print, digital, and electronic collections. This is a tenure track position; an additional graduate degree, scholarship, and service are required for consideration for tenure.

Assistant Professor of Digital Sound Production (Tenure-Track) in South Orange
The Department of Communication, Media, and the Arts at Seton Hall University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in digital sound production. The ideal candidate will teach within and redesign the sound production track in the Visual and Sound Media program (which focuses on the production, history, and theory of film, television, sound media, and sports media) and also expand the offerings of sound production for film and television students. The ideal candidate will envision how sound can operate across other areas of digital media production in the department (with opportunities in the areas of Communication and Performing and Fine Arts), with possible broader application across college programs in education and human services. We are particularly interested in candidates who could create courses in podcasting that could bring together disciplines from the department and/or college.
