The role oversees all technical aspects of integrations between the Ellucian Banner ERP system and third-party systems (e.g., CRM, LMS, payment gateways) and the customization of the Ellucian Experience portal. This includes strategic planning, project execution, and ongoing maintenance to support institutional operations across student services, finance, and administration in a higher education setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee Integration Strategy and Execution: Direct the design, development, and implementation of seamless integrations between the Ellucian Banner ERP system and third-party systems, ensuring robust data flow, system interoperability, and alignment with institutional goals.
2. Manage and Mentor Development Team: Supervise a team of developers, providing technical guidance, fostering professional growth, and ensuring efficient project delivery while maintaining high standards for code quality and system performance.
3. Enhance Customization and Integration: Drive the customization and extension of software including Ellucian Experience portal, Data Connect, Data Access, EIP and other Ellucian tools, along with other non-ERP third party tools, to meet the specific needs of the higher education institution, improving user experience and accessibility for students, faculty, and staff.
4. Ensure System Security and Compliance: Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure all integrations and portal developments adhere to higher education regulations, data privacy standards (e.g., FERPA), and institutional security protocols.
5. Drive Innovation and Process Optimization: The Integration and Development department needs to take advantage of emerging technologies and the latest best practices to enhance integration workflows and portal functionality along with various other third party systems.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, 8 years of IT experience
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher, more than five years of Development/Integration management
Salary Range:
108,000 - 148,500
