Gallery Intern - Summer 2026 in South Orange
Intern will work under the supervision of the Gallery Director on researching, cataloguing, and rehousing objects in the Walsh Gallery’s permanent collections. The intern will also assist the Gallery Director with conceptualizing, researching, and writing didactic text for the fall exhibition. Intern must have excellent problem-solving and organizational skills and be able to work independently following a hands-on training period. The internship is on-site and not eligible for remote work. Work Schedule: 160 hours over 8 weeks (20 hours/week). Schedule will be determined in consultation with Gallery Director.

Managing Attorney in Newark
The Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic at Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey, is seeking to hire an experienced attorney to serve as the Managing Attorney for the Detention and Deportation Defense Initiative (DDDI). The Managing Attorney will work with Professor Lori A. Nessel, Director of the Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic, and practitioners-in-residence, post-graduate immigration detention fellows, clinical faculty, and staff. This is a year-round non-teaching position, contingent on renewed funding. The Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic is part of the Center for Social Justice, home to most of the Law School’s clinical and experiential programs. The Clinic is one of four partners in an exciting and innovative project, funded by the state of New Jersey, to provide legal representation to detained noncitizens. Seton Hall Law’s immigration detention project currently encompasses three full-time attorneys, two full-time paralegals, law students, and one faculty member Director. Seton Hall University School of Law is just a block from Newark Penn Station, a short train ride or drive from New York City.

Area Coordinator in South Orange
The Area Coordinator (AC) is a twelve-month, live-in professional position in Residence Life. The AC will supervise (3) twelve-month full-time Residence Coordinators and support the supervision of 30+ para-professional (student) staff members. Responsibilities also include oversight of approximately 1,100+ resident students in multiple residence hall facilities, residence hall facility management, and oversight of all administrative processes and procedures. Additionally, the Area Coordinator will work with the Central Staff on various departmental wide initiatives including but not limited to RA training and development, staff recruitment and selection, and housing operations and marketing. The AC also participates in the on-call duty rotation.
