Director of Accounting in South Orange
The Director of Accounting position is responsible for the management of the general ledger to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and accountability, including appropriate recording and review of accounting transactions and balances. This position directs and oversees accounting staff and coordinates the month and year-end close with those staff. Accounting areas to be supervised by this position include some or all of the accounting for plant and property, leases, debt, student loans, cash, travel advances, sales tax and unclaimed property, among other areas. Position is also involved in the University’s tax filings, including the University’s Form 990, and other reports to external agencies and organizations. This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Finance & Controller.

Training Security Manager in South Orange
The Training Security Manager is primarily responsible for developing, maintaining, and overseeing training programs and ensuring compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This role ensures that all Public Safety staff are adequately trained and certified in critical areas such as CPR, AED, Narcan administration, and other public safety practices. Additionally, the position is responsible for auditing compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring adherence to departmental standards and policies. The secondary focus of this role is supervising daily operations and providing leadership to Public Safety staff, ensuring a safe and secure environment both on and off-campus. This includes managing the property room, vehicle maintenance, responding to incidents, and providing managerial coverage during vacations or absences at the main campus and at the Law school.
