JOB SUMMARY
Provide a brief summary of The SHUCAN Lab at Seton Hall University is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented undergraduate research assistant to join our team for the 2025–2026 academic year.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Organizing and managing participant recruitment (posting flyers, responding to emails, making calls, scheduling appointments)
• Assisting in data collection (running participants through research protocols)
• Training research assistants
• Entering, updating, and coding paper-based and electronic data
• Maintaining lab organization, including consent forms and data tracking systems
• Ensuring data integrity and care of research equipment
• Supporting general lab tasks as needed
FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT
NO -- Federal Work Study eligibility not required
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong sense of responsibility, organization, and follow-through
• Reliability and attention to detail are essential
• Ability to handle sensitive participant data with professionalism and confidentiality
• Comfort with communicating by email and phone
• Prior research experience is not required but a plus
