JOB SUMMARY

Provide a brief summary of The SHUCAN Lab at Seton Hall University is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented undergraduate research assistant to join our team for the 2025–2026 academic year.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

             Organizing and managing participant recruitment (posting flyers, responding to emails, making calls, scheduling appointments)

             Assisting in data collection (running participants through research protocols)

             Training research assistants

             Entering, updating, and coding paper-based and electronic data

             Maintaining lab organization, including consent forms and data tracking systems

             Ensuring data integrity and care of research equipment

             Supporting general lab tasks as needed

 

FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT

NO -- Federal Work Study eligibility not required

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

             Strong sense of responsibility, organization, and follow-through

             Reliability and attention to detail are essential

             Ability to handle sensitive participant data with professionalism and confidentiality

             Comfort with communicating by email and phone

             Prior research experience is not required but a plus
