JOB SUMMARY

Peer Mentors will support the successful transition of incoming freshmen for RISE SSS

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead small group activities and discussions to promote community building and student engagement

Attend and assist with all Summer Institute programming, including academic workshops, orientation sessions, and social events.

FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT

YES -- Federal Work Study eligibility required (check your 2025/26 Financial Aid Award Offer)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Federal Work Study (FWS) eligibility is required

Must be a current undergraduate RISE SSS student, preferably sophomore standing or above.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Current RISE SSS Student, comfortable using Teams for communication and activities.
