The Assistant Director will assist in providing oversight of the following areas: Academic year counseling, summer counseling, enrollment services, and financial aid for the PMPDPP. The Assistant Director will work in collaboration with the Program Director & Associate Director to organize the annual report process for EOF Central Office and Student Services. The Assistant Director will ensure proper management and coordination of student leadership development via programming: Academic Society Events, Peer Mentor Training, PMPDPP Spring Break Professional School Retreat, and other enrichment activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage Counseling, advising, enrollment (recruitment, admissions, financial aid), and student initiatives in PMPDPP.
Evaluates and makes recommendations for the development of the PMPDPP recruitment strategies along with the EOF Assistant Director of Enrollment. Responsible for the distribution of financial aid information along with enrollment services. The Assistant Director will also chair the PMPDPP admission selection committee.
Develops and coordinates all aspects of student leadership development for PMPDPP students. These include but are not limited to: Academic Society Events, workshops, seminars, spring break professional school retreat & tours, etc… The Assistant Director is also responsible for providing instruction for College Success Seminar during the PMPDPP summer enrichment program and University Life during the fall semester
Works with Financial Aid to ensure the appropriate allocation of all PMPDPP student awards have been made. Monitors state and federal verification process in order to ensure that students complete verification in a timely manner. Serves as the liaison between the University Enrollment Services, NJ EOF, HESAA. The Assistant Director will also ensure compliance with institutional, state and federal financial aid requirements and mandates for PMPDPP students
Serves as the liaison for all departments at Seton Hall and will help facilitate and establish new and continued relationships with graduate, medical, and dental schools
Other duties as assigned by the Director

Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of EOF Programs, HESAA guidelines, college recruiting, financial aid counseling, health sciences, academic advisement, and programming.

Salary Grade:

AD160 - Administrative

Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt
