JOB SUMMARY:

Disability Support Services - General Student Worker- South Orange Campus - DSS assistant for accessible materials

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

DSS is looking to hire students to assist in creating accessible materials for courses in the BS degree in Arts & Sciences including but not limited to Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Math. This may include adding descriptive captions, changing formatting to be clearer from PowerPoint to Word or other source materials, working closely with students to understand their needs. Serving as a liaison with instructors to ensure accuracy in materials. Hours will be determine with individuals. Anticipation of 8 hours a week. This position is eligible for work study or payment outside of work study. The rate will be $15.13/hour.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Only Seton Hall Students registered for classes for 2024-2025 should apply.  No prior experience necessary.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should be outgoing, friendly and polite and willing to assist other students.
