JOB SUMMARY:

The Office of International Programs (OIP) is looking for energetic, creative and reliable student

workers to help improve the experience of international and study abroad students on campus! Student

workers can make a big impact being part of a small, fast-paced global office. If you are interested in

adding real-world work experience to your resume, this job is for you!

Student workers will carry out a variety of administrative and specialty area tasks.

Administrative tasks include, but are not limited to:

Duties include and are not limited to the following:

OIP is also looking for students with a background, skills or interest in the following areas:

-Public Relations / Communications

-Social Media Engagement

-IT Support

-Writing (articles, newsletters, etc.)

-Design (Posters, office layout, etc)

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Answering student phone calls

-Assisting student walk-ins

- Scheduling student appointments

- Filing student files

- Responding to daily emails

- Updating the OIP website

-Participating in staff meetings

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Mature, driven and reliable personality

Proficient in English

Interested in travel, meeting students from various backgrounds and countries

Patient with non-native English speakers

Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint etc.)

Proficient in another language besides English

Majors of international relations, marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, graphic design

welcome!

Relevant experience working in an office setting and providing customer support
