The Department of Interprofessional Health Sciences and Health Administration in the School of Health and Medical Sciences (SHMS) at Seton Hall University is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to develop and teach courses in the Exercise Science concentration within our new Bachelor of Science in Interprofessional Health Sciences degree program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop course content, examinations, and assignments in accordance with the course objectives and alignment with the course syllabus.
• Courses that are developed for hybrid delivery will require collaboration with a representative from the Teaching, Learning and Technology Center to ensure that the course is constructed to comply with Quality MattersTM standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in exercise science, exercise physiology, kinesiology, health sciences, or a closely related field.
• Experience with developing/teaching courses in one or more of the following areas: exercise testing and prescription, exercise programs for special populations, internship models for exercise science, exercise physiology, and care and prevention of athletic injuries, among others

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior history of teaching undergraduate courses
• Possess an appropriate certification from the American College of Sports Medicine or the National Strength and Conditioning Association
