JOB SUMMARY:

Buccino Leadership Institute Podcast Producer & Editor

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Podcast Producer & Editor develops a strategy to promote the Buccino Leadership Institute through our podcast channel. This role is responsible for producing and editing podcast episodes, leadership content, interviewing guest speakers, publishing episodes via podcast streaming service, managing podcast team, creating/publishing podcast schedule, and meeting release deadlines.

• Publish and edit podcast content

• Develop podcast schedule to include leadership topics per episode to broadcast each semester

• Manage BLI podcast account

• Schedule guest speakers

• Collaborate with WSOU and Student Director of Strategic Communications

• Provide schedule for on campus work hours

• Attend monthly meetings with Assistant Director and/or other BLI administrators to provide updates

• Recruit a podcast team

• Serve and/or delegate a representative from the podcast team to attend events such as our Student Initiatives Fair, Open House, and/or Visit Days

• Perform other duties and tasks assigned by BLI administrators

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience conducting a podcast

• Proficiency in writing, oral communication, and editing

• Understanding of best practices applied to produce a successful podcast

• Management, organization and time management skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience using Podbean and/or other podcast streaming services
