Seton Hall University School of Law welcomes applications for a tenure-track position to begin July 1, 2026. Candidates should demonstrate (i) scholarly promise, (ii) the ability or potential to be an outstanding teacher and mentor who can prepare students for the practice of law, and (iii) leadership in service toward building an equitable and diverse academic community.

We will consider entry-level and lateral candidates. We have particular teaching needs in family law.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Seton Hall Law School offers a vibrant, energetic academic environment. Located in downtown Newark, New Jersey, approximately 20 minutes from Manhattan, Seton Hall Law is especially well-regarded in the health and life sciences law, intellectual property, cybersecurity, and privacy arenas, and it is in the process of expanding its role in energy, gaming/sports, technology and data analytics.

The main campus of Seton Hall University is located in South Orange, New Jersey, about 4 miles from the Law School . Seton Hall University is the oldest Catholic diocesan institution of higher education in the United States and is home to about 6,300 undergraduate and 4,700 graduate students. Salary Range:

$153,855-$170,951
