JOB SUMMARY
The Student Team Lead will provide day-to-day oversight of federal work-study student workers within the College of Arts & Sciences. This position ensures that assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time, while also assisting with administrative operations. The role offers an opportunity to gain leadership experience, develop organizational skills, and contribute to the efficient functioning of the Dean’s Office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Oversight 40%
- Monitor and support the work of federal work-study student workers.
- Provide guidance, answer questions, and ensure tasks are completed correctly.
- Serve as a point of contact between student workers and the Director of Administrative Services.
Procurement Support 30%
- Assist with the preparation and submission of supply orders through Unimarket.
- Track order status and follow up on outstanding requests.
- Ensure accuracy of order details prior to submission for review.
Travel & Reimbursement Processing 30%
- Assist with the collection and organization of travel reimbursement documentation.
- Enter reimbursement details for preliminary processing.
- Submit completed files to the Director for review and approval.
FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT
NO -- Federal Work Study eligibility not required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Seton Hall University student in good academic standing.
- Prior work-study or student worker experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable learning and using administrative systems (e.g., Unimarket, Banner, Microsoft Office Suite).
