JOB SUMMARY:

Student worker for the Center for Catholic Studies for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. (Must be eligible for Federal Work Study)

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Work Study student will be responsible for general office duties at the Center for Catholic Studies, including filing, mailing, and organization. Additional duties include assistance with academic journals and website maintenance, including content creation, social media, research, and writing. The position will support the staff of the Center and its Institutes. Available Fall 2024.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be eligible for Federal Work Study (Consult your 2024/25 award notification before applying)

- Understanding of and appreciation for Seton Hall's Catholic Mission

- Excellent writing skills

- Ability to proofread

- Ability to take direction and constructive criticism

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in an office setting

- A keen eye for design

- Event planning experience

- Experience with and ability to learn computer programs (Outlook, Office, Teams, etc.)

- Previous experience in a church or ministry setting (youth group, religious education, or campus ministry)
