Seton Hall University seeks a student-centered professional who is interested in working in a cross-functional role. The Coordinator of Student Outreach and Support will join a forward-thinking team in the Dean of Students Office that aims to advocate for students and their success. The successful candidate will work in multiple areas with emphasis on student support, student conduct, assessment, and prevention education. Individuals with experience in advising, student conduct, and student support and encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Student Education & Support
• Provide assistance to students with academic, personal, social, physical health, mental health, financial, behavioral or other difficulties.
• Serve in administrative role with Dean of Students Office to include policy development, member of Behavioral Intervention Team, and assist students with medical withdrawal and readmission process.
• Implement and assess Life Skills and Resiliency Program as part of Great Minds Dare to Care program.
• Facilitate educational sanctions assigned to students who are in violation of the Alcohol Policy, including tracking eCheckUp completions and facilitation of Brief Motivational Interviewing for second violations.
Administrative
• Manage and assist with major program initiatives for Dean of Students Office including overall assessment program, management of website, promotion of initiatives for all areas.
• Assist Associate Dean of Students with Student Conduct including serving as a conduct officer, an investigator, and hearing board member.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree
• 2 – 3 years working professionally with students in college setting in one or more areas outlined in position description.

Salary Grade:

AD170 - Administrative

Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt

Physical Demands: General Office Environment
