JOB SUMMARY
The Federal Work-Study Student Assistant will provide administrative and technical support to the College of Arts & Sciences Director of Administrative Services, focusing on operational tasks and data management. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented student who is professional, organized, and able to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion. The student will gain hands-on experience in administrative operations, data handling, and project support within a confidential and professional setting.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with organizing and maintaining electronic and physical records.
Support the collection, entry, and analysis of operational data.
Help prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation.
Maintain calendars, schedules, and project timelines as needed.
Monitor and track ongoing administrative workflows.
Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and document management.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Communicate professionally via email and in person with internal staff and other members of the campus community.
Other duties as assigned to support the Director’s operational priorities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Federal Work Study (FWS) eligibility and award for AY2025-2026 is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook,).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Professional demeanor and communication skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred majors: Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Psychology.
Familiarity with Microsoft Planner, Power Automate, Forms, and/or Vizio
