JOB SUMMARY

KNOW MORE Student Coordinator

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The KNOW MORE Student Coordinator will manage a variety of tasks related to the administration of KNOW MORE Education and Prevention Programming area within the Dean of Students Office (DOS). The Student Coordinator will work with the Assistant Dean of Students and other DOS staff to plan small and large scale educational programs each semester around the topics of alcohol, other drugs, and sexual violence prevention education. The Student Coordinator will assist in the management of the KNOW MORE Peer Educators and will also participate/show support for additional programs through DOS and Student Services as necessary.

 

FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT

NO -- Federal Work Study eligibility not required

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The KNOW MORE Student Coordinator will serve as a good role model to peers, practice confidentiality and discretion as defined by the Dean of Students Office, and will attend formal training sessions and meetings as scheduled and necessary. Regular evening and weekend availability will be required. Minimum GPA of 2.5.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of and passion for the prevention education of alcohol, other drugs, and sexual violence is preferred but not required.

Prior experience as a KNOW MORE Peer Educator.
