The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Seton Hall University is seeking a qualified candidate for a contract hire position in Cybersecurity to start in August, 2025. This role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, developing curriculum materials, and contributing to the department's initiatives in cybersecurity. This role will participate in recruitment for the cybersecurity programs, including in-person events, webinars, and communication with applicants.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in cybersecurity and related fields.
• Develop and update course materials and curricula to align with industry standards and emerging trends.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career pathways in cybersecurity.
• Participate in departmental committees and contribute to program development.
• Engage in professional development activities to stay current with advancements in cybersecurity.
• Participate actively in recruitment for the cybersecurity programs, including outreach to applicants and inquiries and attendance at in-person and remote recruitment events.
Required Qualifications:
• A Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a closely related field is required.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in the cybersecurity industry.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and tools.
• Knowledge of emerging trends in cybersecurity education, including hands-on labs and simulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
