The Department of Interprofessional Health Sciences and Health Administration in the School of Health and Medical Sciences (SHMS) at Seton Hall University is collecting applications for an Adjunct Faculty Pool to teach in the PhD in Health Sciences program. The PhD in Health Sciences Program is a fully online degree and courses are taught online in a synchronous format. Adjunct course instructors are being sought for the following courses and semesters:
Fall 2024
GMHS 6210 Curriculum Development in Health Professions Education (3 Credits).
The course will be offered synchronously online via Teams and Canvas Platforms, Thursdays, 5:00-7:10 pm eastern time.
GMHS 8113 Principles of Motor Control & Learning (3 Credits).
The course will be offered synchronously online via Teams and Canvas Platforms, Thursdays, 7:35-9:45 pm eastern time.
Spring 2025
GMHS 6210 Curriculum Development in Health Professions Education (3 Credits).
The course will be offered synchronously online via Teams and Canvas Platforms, Thursdays, 5:00-7:10 pm eastern time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Facilitate course content, examinations, and assignments in accordance with the course objectives and alignment with the course syllabus.
• Courses in the PhD in HS synchronous online program comply with Quality MattersTM standards.

Required Qualifications:
• Doctoral degree in health sciences, motor control, movement science, exercise science, allied health professions or closely related field.
• Experience with teaching online courses in one or more of the following areas: motor learning, motor control, exercise science, dynamic systems approach to movement system disorders.
Desired Qualifications:
• Prior history of teaching graduate online synchronous courses
• Experience in a healthcare setting, movement science laboratory
