JOB SUMMARY:

Assist with basic administrative functions of an office. Filing, sorting, collating, maintaining records, light office duties and running errands.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the day to day operation of the office, answering phone and answering questions from students. including assisting with professional-social media operations and assisting with project specific issues utilizing excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.  Assist in the creation and design of flyers and PowerPoint presentations. 

Provide support to daily office activities – interface with many departments – mailroom, print shop, Dean’s office, bursar’s office and gourmet dining.

Assists in coordinating and executing Guest Lecture and Scholars in Residence programs; coordinates procedural and technical issues; which includes booking rooms, making travel arrangements, welcoming guests.

Acts as a liaison between departments, and programs and professional schools; coordinates with the offices of the Provost, Dean of Arts & Sciences, other Deans, Freshmen Studies and Enrollment Services.. Create database of High Schools to contact for HS essay contest.  Collect student names and information for Delta Espilon Honor society.

Must have excellent computer skills (MS Office applications – excel, powerpoint, word), Publisher, get along with others, excellent communication skills.
