Adjunct Professor of Business Writing in South Orange
Seton Hall University seeks adjunct instructors to teach sections of our Business Writing classes. This course is designed to familiarize students with the tools and techniques necessary to become effective business communicators, with a special emphasis on business writing competencies and critical thinking. Professors of this course will instruct how to compose workplace writings such as emails, memos, business letters, reports, proposals, resumes, presentations, and data analysis. Key learning objectives in this course are audience awareness, analysis, grammar, syntax, format, organization, and presentation. At the end of the course, students will be familiar with the business library resources and the career center and will have an understanding and an ability to communicate effectively in the world of business. Seton Hall University is located in South Orange, New Jersey, 14 miles from New York City. Seton Hall University Libraries is pleased to seek an innovative Graduate Assistant (GA) for Research Data Services, University Libraries. In this position, the GA will be responsible for maintaining daily activities such assisting students and faculty with Data consultations, assigning software licenses, troubleshooting technical questions, and managing the workshop calendar. This position requires knowledge of research methods: quantitative and/or qualitative as well as two or more supporting programs. The GA position will conduct workshops and training for the SHU community.

Director, Law School Admission in Newark
The Director of JD Admissions is a senior member of the admissions policy and planning team and works under the general oversight of and reporting to the Assistant Dean for JD and Graduate Admissions. The Director supports the Assistant Dean in developing and implementing a strategy for recruiting and yielding prospective students thereby plays a key role in matriculating a JD class annually meeting the law school’s qualitative and quantitative goals. The role is pivotal in the success of the admissions office through ample student counseling and thorough file review. The director also has responsibility for recruitment and yield activities and is the lead professional responsible for coordinating on and off-site events.
