Assistant Professor of User Experience & Interface Design (Tenure-Track) in South Orange
The Department of Communication, Media, and the Arts within the College of Human Development, Culture, and Media at Seton Hall University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in User Experience & Interface Design. The successful candidate will have professional and/or academic experience in UX/UI and visual design. The ability to teach front end coding languages and interaction design methods is a plus. The individual will play an essential role in the UX/UI certificate and the design curriculum in the Art, Design and Interactive Multimedia Program. Special consideration will be given to candidates who have experience teaching. We are very interested in candidates who can help develop curriculum and design new courses. The new faculty member will advise students and be an active service member in the College and University. They will support and contribute to the College’s culture of diversity, equity and inclusivity and participate in an interdisciplinary community dedicated to creative collaboration. This position entails a 18-credit teaching requirement during the academic year, commensurate with Department needs, and is expected to begin in August 2025.
