The ideal candidate has an interdisciplinary background in the environmental social sciences or sustainability sciences, with both research and teaching experience. Applicants must be prepared to teach Introduction to Environmental Studies, our signature introductory survey course for both majors and non-majors. This role partners closely with assigned academic departments to enhance course design, instructional effectiveness, and technology integration. Through collaboration and transparent communication with leadership, the Senior Instructional Designer drives initiatives that elevate teaching and learning across the university. In addition to supporting faculty in applying pedagogical theory, accessibility standards, and best practices, the Senior Instructional Designer designs and delivers comprehensive training programs for faculty, staff, and students and identifies emerging educational technologies to integrate meaningfully into learning environments.

Reporting to the Director of the Pre-Professional Advising Center (P-PAC) and joining the P-PAC team, the P-PAC Pre-Health Advisor will perform a variety of advising, programming, and administrative functions to assist in the daily operations of the Pre-Professional Advising Center. The advisor will provide students with guidance, support, advising and coaching as students EXPLORE the health professions, PREPARE for, and go through the competitive APPLICATION process for medical school and other health professional schools.
