Assistant Professor of Cognitive or Behavioral Neuroscience in South Orange
The Department of Psychology at Seton Hall University (www.shu.edu/psychology) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Cognitive or Behavioral Neuroscience (broadly defined) to begin Fall 2026. The successful candidate will have the skill to develop and teach courses within their area of expertise, as well as contribute to core courses within the psychology and neuroscience majors. The candidate will be expected to establish a line of neuroscience research with either human participants or non-human subjects that can involve undergraduate student researchers. About the Department Faculty in the Psychology Department have diverse basic and applied research interests and value high quality teaching and substantive service. The Department has approximately 350 psychology majors and offers BA and BS degrees, a minor, and a new and rapidly growing Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience major. Coursework emphasizes scientific thinking, with a broad range of basic, applied, and experiential learning offerings. We are a highly collegial department of 15 full-time faculty members with a strong commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. Many faculty have active collaborations with colleagues in other departments at Seton Hall, as well as collaborations with regional clinical and research facilities. Our location in the greater NYC metro area provides additional opportunities for interinstitutional collaboration.

Assistant Director Grad Operations in South Orange
Reporting to the Director of Graduate Affairs Operations and Information Systems, the Assistant Director of Graduate Affairs Operations is responsible for assisting with the general management, maintenance and functionality of the graduate CRM (Slate) and associated integrations, as well as leveraging the platform for the advancement of graduate recruitment and enrollment. Additionally, serving as part of the Operations team for the Office of Graduate Affairs, this position is responsible for maintenance, initial input, and regular updates for prospective graduate student records in the Slate and Banner systems, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and processing of all graduate-related inquiries and applicants to the University, and assists with the handling of records and documentation. Furthermore, this position will also be expected to assist with the daily operations of the Office of Graduate Affairs, including timely and courteous responses by e-mail and phone to student inquiries. Given the versatile nature of work in the admissions office there will be other duties as assigned to meet the needs of our perspective students.
