Faculty, Adjunct in South Orange
The University CORE Curriculum at Seton Hall is seeking adjuncts (part time, nontenure-track) for the Academic Year of 2023-2024 to teach one or two sections of our Signature Core I and Core II courses. The courses are Journey of Transformation (Core I) and Christianity and Culture in Dialogue (Core II), and they are required for all Freshmen and Sophomores students. The courses consider the relationship between the Catholic intellectual tradition and other religions and cultures, particularly in terms of how they answer the big questions of life common to us all. Texts from the Christian tradition are studied along with texts from non-Christian traditions to demonstrate direct connections across other religions and cultures.

Director of Student Success Initiatives in South Orange
Reporting to the Associate Dean within College of Human Development, Culture, and Media's (CHDCM) Office of Student Success, the Director will develop, implement, and monitor multi-level initiatives to support undergraduate and graduate student success. The Director, aligned with College and University strategic priorities, will identify and incorporate evidence-based strategies—for example, co-curricular programs and services, data-informed intervention systems, and faculty development and training—to increase student engagement, retention, and success. Key roles will include collaborating with College faculty, administrators, and staff and engaging with campus partners to further success initiatives and foster a student-centered culture of excellence.
