Lecturer in South Orange
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Seton Hall University invites applications for a full-time lecturer position beginning in Fall 2026. We are seeking an outstanding teacher with interest and demonstrated ability to teach, organize, manage and develop innovative curriculum in introductory undergraduate teaching labs and lectures, with a particular emphasis on broad general chemistry courses for all science majors, and be involved in service at the department, college, and university levels. Research with undergraduates is encouraged but not required. Seton Hall University is located in South Orange, New Jersey, 14 miles from New York City. Seton Hall University Libraries is pleased to seek an innovative Graduate Assistant (GA) for Research Data Services, University Libraries. In this position, the GA will be responsible for maintaining daily activities such assisting students and faculty with Data consultations, assigning software licenses, troubleshooting technical questions, and managing the workshop calendar. This position requires knowledge of research methods: quantitative and/or qualitative as well as two or more supporting programs. The GA position will conduct workshops and training for the SHU community.
