Administrative Assistant in South Orange
This position assists the Director of the Preaching as Hospitality Program at Immaculate Conception School of Theology with the management and implementation of the daily operations of the program. This includes assistance with major projects both on and off campus, including Evenings of Recollection, University Parish Mission, Pauline Preaching Clinic, and daily meditations for Advent and Lent. The Administrative Assistant maintains and updates databases, spreadsheets, and digital and physical files, manages the director’s schedule, and prepares meeting agendas.With the program director, the assistant collates data and assesses the program, drafting and submitting an annual report. This position allows for wide latitude in all aspects of the program’s daily implementation of policies, procedures, and events. It provides the staffing support needed to implement the long term strategic plans of growing the program and helping to develop a certificate program and ongoing preaching clinics.

The Web Editor, Preaching as Hospitality Formation Program of Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology (ICSST), is responsible for researching, planning, writing, and editing online content. The Web Editor will work with Seton Hall's Public Relations and Marketing Team to produce social media posts, develop strategic marketing plans, optimize search engine best practices, and assure consistent messaging. The job requires excellent research and writing skills, with an eye for detail and an understanding of the special requirements of web writing. The goal is to produce creative web content to appeal to the Seminary, University, and Arcdhiocsean and Diocesan audiences. The position will focus primarily on the preaching of ordained clergy; the editor must have an understanding of the Roman Catholic priesthood and diaconate. This is a part-time, 25 hour a week, grant-funded 4-year position.
