JOB SUMMARY |
The Office of Student Engagement (OSE) is seeking top-level, organized, team-oriented, and innovative student workers to assist with projects, tasks, and events supporting Student Activities, Greek Life, Clubs/Organizations, Orientation, and Leadership Programs. |
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
General Responsibilities: - Manage the Student Engagement e-mail by responding to inquiries and/or forwarding to appropriate areas - Manage student organization package inventory and pick-up - Assist with tasks and trainings for the Campus Groups/SHU Mobile App platform to support clubs/organizations - Provide event support at OSE events (set-up/breakdown, attendance check-in, photography, sit on a panel, network, etc.) - Assist with the planning of annual events such as the Student Involvement Fair, Student Leadership Awards, Impact Conference, Food Truck Fridays - Correspond/benchmark best practices with other peer institutions - Create marketing strategies for large scale programs and initiatives - Assist with general office tasks such as word processing, form creation/tracking, filing, organizing, inventory, and other duties as assigned responsibilities of the position |
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS |
- Must be Federal Work Study eligible. - Active/matriculated student in good standing. - Must have previous customer service experience and/or have worked in a formal office setting. - Experience with inventory tracking, package management, or similar operational responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with tools like Adobe Express, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, or Canva. - Knowledge of University's Seton Hall Mobile App and additional application integrations. - Demonstrates a positive attitude and takes initiative. |
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS |
- Competency with tools like Adobe Express, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, or Canva. - Competency with social media and content creation (videos, posts, etc.) - Experience taking event photography (live events/concerts, community events, staged photoshoots, etc.) |
