JOB SUMMARY

The Career Center is seeking dynamic and motivated students to serve as Career Ambassadors. Our C.A. will be matched to one or more of the Career Center's strategic task forces based on their skills, experience, and interests. These task forces include Communications, Events/Marketing & social media, Data, and Technology. Each ambassador will contribute to projects that enhance the Career Center’s services and impact while gaining valuable professional experience.

Available Task Force:

             Communications Task Force – Focus on internal and student messaging and written communication.

             Events, Marketing & Social Media Task Force – Promote career events through visuals, video, and social content creation.

             Career Center Data Task Force – Assist with data collection, analysis, and visualization of outcomes and performance metrics.

             Career Center Technology Task Force – Support onboarding of new platforms, testing tools, and helping create user-friendly resources.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

             Support the planning and execution of assigned task force projects and meetings.

             Contribute ideas and take initiative in team discussions and creative problem solving.

             Create or assist in creating content (written, visual, video, or data-driven) depending on task force placement.

             Assist in maintaining organization of shared folders, documentation, and schedules on MS Teams.

             Attend weekly or biweekly check-ins with task force leads and provide updates as needed.

 

FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT

NO -- Federal Work Study eligibility not required

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

             Strong interest in at least one of the following: communications, marketing, design, data, or technology.

             Experience using relevant tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, Excel, Google Sheets, social media apps, or survey platforms.

             Excellent written and/or verbal communication skills.

             Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

             Detail-oriented, creative, and dependable.

             Open to learning new tools and platforms as needed.
