The Community Liaison & Operations Coordinator serves as the Institute's lead administrative professional responsible for coordinating daily operations, advancing strategic initiatives, supporting community engagement, and facilitating the successful execution of Institute priorities. Working under the general direction of the Executive Director, the incumbent exercises independent judgment in managing Institute operations, developing operational recommendations, coordinating cross-functional projects, administering budgets, cultivating community partnerships, and representing the Institute with internal and external stakeholders. The position provides operational leadership that enables the Institute to fulfill its mission through effective administration, program management, donor engagement, and strategic project coordination. Conversational Spanish is highly preferred due to the Institute's engagement with Spanish-speaking students, families, alumni, donors, and community partners.

Law School Clinical Teaching Fellow in Newark
Seton Hall University School of Law welcomes applications for a Clinical Teaching Fellowship with the Criminal Defense and Community Advocacy Clinic to begin during the 2026-27 academic year. The New Jersey State Bar Foundation (NJSBF) Clinical Teaching Fellowship is designed to launch the teaching careers of practitioners with at least 3-5 years of practice experience, but applicants with less experience will be reviewed. Preference will be given to applicants with 5 years of more of experience. The fellow will have the opportunity to co-teach with an experienced clinician and to participate in supervision rounds and discussions of clinical pedagogy with other clinical teaching fellows. The fellow also will be mentored in pursuit of a career in legal educations. The Seton Hall Law School Center for Social Justice seeks to hire a teaching fellow, starting on or about early September 2026 with flexibility to start at a later date. The fellow will be hired for 1 year, with the possibility of continuation for an additional 1 or 2 years.

Admissions Counselor in South Orange
Those who work in this entry level role will be responsible for all front-line customer services including communication related to the Admissions process of Seton Hall University. The Admissions Counselor will be responsible for receiving and delivering all electronic, voice and in-person related information pertaining to the inquiry application and enrollment processes of the Office of Admissions. The Admissions Counselor will be responsible for assessing the customer service provided by the Office of Admissions and suggesting ways to enhance the services provided. Additionally, this position will be responsible for meeting with and speaking to students and families, specifically in terms of the application process, decision process, and financial aid process. The Admissions Counselor will make decisions on the applications of students when necessary and will be well-versed in the enrollment process to better assist prospective students in their application/financial aid review. Additionally, this position will be responsible for providing daily information sessions to campus visitors prior to taking a tour as well as conducting interviews of prospective students. They may also be responsible for providing tours. The Admissions Counselor will need to be customer service oriented with a strong desire to work with others. The Admissions Counselor should also be available to work some weekend and evening events throughout a recruitment cycle.

Paralegal in Newark
The Immigrants' Rights/International Human Rights Clinic (IRC) operates with the Center for Social Justice--a public interest law firm within Seton Hall Law School. The Detention and Deportation Defense Initiative (DDDI) is part of the IRC, and is funded through New Jersey's Office of New Americans. DDDI provides legal services to detained immigrants in New Jersey. This grant-funded paralegal will join one other grant-funded paralegal to support the work of attorneys and students on this large grant. The DDDI paralegal will support attorneys and students with their filing of a wide variety of immigration forms, as well as conducting intake interviews, drafting and preparing motions, affidavits, and other legal documents in immigration cases. This will often include initial completion of forms and court documents, to be reviewed by an attorney before filing.

Assistant Director for Housing Operations in South Orange
As a member of the central management team, the Assistant Director works collaboratively to support the strategic goals of the department. They are responsible for administration of university housing operations including but not limited to control and management of room inventory, assignments, meal plans, billing and the accuracy of data between student housing database and the university student information system (Banner). They coordinate and collaborate with Enrollment Services, Card Access, Athletics and Facilities in fulfillment of their duties. They also manage the Damage Billing system. The Assistant Director assists with the management of associated vendor contracts. The Assistant Director develops and implements the marketing plan for the department including updates to web and social media, creating and modifying video and written publications The Assistant Director supervises the Housing Operations Coordinator who also oversees summer and conference housing. Oversee the supervision and execution of the Desk Assistant program. The Assistant Director also serves in the department’s Central Staff on-call rotation. This is a live on position.
