Lab Coordinator in South Orange
The Department of Biological Sciences at Seton Hall University seeks a full-time Lab Coordinator. Briefly, this lab lecturer would be expected to teach 12 credits per academic year of undergraduate teaching labs and/or lab lectures. This faculty’s responsibility would also include lab preparations, maintaining lab facilities, and completing tasks associated with teaching-lab functions for multiple courses. More specifically, the hire would be expected to: (1) coordinate labs courses with other faculty to maintain a consistent and academically strong curriculum; (2) meet with faculty, graduate assistants, and adjuncts to standardize grading & content for core courses (i.e. general biology, anatomy & physiology, genetics, cell biology, nonmajors anatomy & physiology, microbiology, upper biology electives etc.); (3) support/train graduate students who are teaching laboratory courses; (4) assist with managing safety and OSHA compliance within the lab facilities; (5) and assist with other day-day activities that are important to a functional department (e.g. exam proctoring). Adjunct Professor-Psychopharmacology in South Orange
The Psychology Department at Seton Hall University seeks an adjunct instructor to teach an in-person course in Psychopharmacology starting January 2026. This 3000-level (i.e., upper division) course is required of students in our BS in Cognitive Neuroscience, and a potential elective for students in the Psychology major. Course Description and select learning objectives from the Catalogue: “A comprehensive examination of the mechanisms by which drugs interact with the brain and behavior, with emphasis on the role of neurotransmitter systems. • Describe the field of psychopharmacology and its relation to other subfields within psychology and neuroscience. • Explain how pharmacokinetic factors interact to determine drug bioavailability. • Identify the main classes of abused drugs, describe their mechanisms of action and their behavioral effects • Identify the major classes of drugs used in the treatment of major psychiatric and neurological disorders, describe their mechanisms of action and their behavioral effects “ In the Psychology Department, all new adjunct faculty are paired with full-time faculty mentors to help the individual develop their teaching through conversation and course observation. Assistant Director Grad Operations in South Orange
Reporting to the Director of Graduate Affairs Operations and Information Systems, the Assistant Director of Graduate Affairs Operations is responsible for assisting with the general management, maintenance and functionality of the graduate CRM (Slate) and associated integrations, as well as leveraging the platform for the advancement of graduate recruitment and enrollment. Additionally, serving as part of the Operations team for the Office of Graduate Affairs, this position is responsible for maintenance, initial input, and regular updates for prospective graduate student records in the Slate and Banner systems, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and processing of all graduate-related inquiries and applicants to the University, and assists with the handling of records and documentation. Furthermore, this position will also be expected to assist with the daily operations of the Office of Graduate Affairs, including timely and courteous responses by e-mail and phone to student inquiries. Given the versatile nature of work in the admissions office there will be other duties as assigned to meet the needs of our perspective students.

The Graduate Assistant for the Clinical Skills Laboratory is responsible for assisting the Coordinator of the Clinical Skills Lab and faculty of the College of Nursing with setting up and cleaning up the laboratory and supervising nursing students practicing assessment and intervention skills, and for assisting the Director of the Clinical Simulation Lab and faculty of the College of Nursing with simulation experiences as needed.

Adjunct Professor - Writing in South Orange
Seton Hall University seeks adjunct instructors to teach sections of our first-year writing classes. These are composition courses with an emphasis on rhetorical analysis. They fall into two categories: English 1201 is a composition course with a rhetorical focus, stressing textual and visual analysis, while English 1202 is an academic writing course focused on literature. Candidates must have experience teaching composition in a college or university setting and, at minimum, an MA in a related field. CV and letter of interest are required to apply; a statement of teaching philosophy, course evaluations from a composition class, and up to three letters of reference are recommended.
