The Department of Professional Psychology and Family Therapy within the College of Human Development, Culture, and Media at Seton Hall University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer, with essential teaching assignments in the graduate Applied Behavior Analysis program. Lecturer appointments have a primary responsibility of teaching and are retained on a one-to-three-year contract, renewable upon recommendation by the Department and approval by the Dean and Provost. Lecturer positions are not on the tenure track but may be appointed at or promoted to the rank of Senior Lecturer, commensurate with demonstrated experience. Within the Department of Professional Psychology and Family Therapy, all programs have a strong commitment to preparing competent, socially conscious, reflective professionals. This includes training future behavior analysts who are scientist-practitioners committed to adhering to evidence-based, ethical, and equitable practice. All our graduates are prepared to meet the needs of clients within an ever-changing, multicultural, and complex urban/suburban landscape. The Master’s degree program in behavior analysis is aligned with best practice and leads graduates towards future certification and licensure. The behavior analysis program is a Verified Course Sequence of the Association for Behavior Analysis International.

PCSS Graduate Assistant 2024-2025 (SHU Graduate Student Only) in South Orange
The GA (Graduate Assistant) will assist the Technology Operations Management Office with overseeing a work-study staff which supports the Department of Information Technology Services (ITS) in various areas such as the Teaching, Learning and Technology Center, Walsh Library Computer Lab, Esports Gaming Lab, Service Desk, Technical Support Area, and IT (Information Technology) administrative offices. The position does not follow the academic calendar. The GA is responsible for covering evening and weekend hours when needed. The GA will utilize office programs to complete tasks and projects as assigned. Projects include assisting with managing departmental budget and expenditures, updating spreadsheets, etc. Proficiency in Excel is required.
