Perform stockroom and mail duties. Verify stockroom is properly stocked and supplied. List items for reorder, if necessary. Compile purchases made, billed to the stockroom and prepare monthly IDT form / finding and calling vendors for Credit Card receipts for monthly report and charges. Back to the respective departments charges, Log incoming packages and notify recipients by email that there is a parcel waiting. Distribute packages to recipients and obtain signatures. Other duties assigned.

Paralegal in Newark
Seton Hall University School of Law has an immediate opening for a full-time Immigration Paralegal in its Center for Social Justice, Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic. The position is entirely grant-funded. The Center for Social Justice is home to the Law School’s vibrant clinical program including civil litigation; equal justice; family law; health justice; immigrants’ rights/international human rights; and impact litigation. Furthermore, the Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic is one of four partners in an exciting and innovative project, funded by the state of New Jersey, to provide legal representation to detained and non-detained immigrants in removal proceedings. Seton Hall Law’s Detention and Deportation Defense Initiative (DDDI) presently encompasses a Managing Attorney, two full-time Practitioners-in Residence, two clinical faculty members, two Immigration Detention Fellows, clinical and extern law students, and two full-time paralegals. The ultimate goal of the Project is to provide universal representation to immigrant New Jerseyans in removal proceedings.

Perform secretarial and administrative tasks for the Department of Occupational Therapy (OT); provide support as needed for the OT Department Chair, full-time faculty, adjunct faculty and students. Create and maintain annual fiscal budget sheet and provide monthly reports to the Dean’s Office. Purchase supplies and material, prepare contracts for adjunct faculty, GA’s, and outside contractors. Provide support for school and department special events. Respond to program inquiries from prospective students and their families.
