The Part Time Student Success Advisor (SSA) serves as the primary point of contact for all first-year students, guiding their transition to college and supporting their academic success. This role involves providing academic advising to first year students, monitoring their academic progress, conducting advising appointments, assisting with course registration through their first year, and teaching 1-3 sections of our first year seminar course.

Seton Hall University seeks adjunct instructors to teach sections of our Business Writing classes. This course is designed to familiarize students with the tools and techniques necessary to become effective business communicators, with a special emphasis on business writing competencies and critical thinking. Professors of this course will instruct how to compose workplace writings such as emails, memos, business letters, reports, proposals, resumes, presentations, and data analysis. Key learning objectives in this course are audience awareness, analysis, grammar, syntax, format, organization, and presentation. At the end of the course, students will be familiar with the business library resources and the career center and will have an understanding and an ability to communicate effectively in the world of business.
