JOB SUMMARY
|
The primary function of this role is to support an alumni engagement strategy and implementation through summer events to involve the Seton Hall alumni community. This position is responsible for a multitude of daily activities including database management, research, phone and email inquiries, written communication to support events, event preparation activities, and general event attendance and support. Some evening and weekend opportunities may be requested.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
|
• Participates in team meetings to brainstorm new ideas for engagement activities and events.
• Assist with managing event materials and merchandise.
• Attends alumni engagement events as needed.
• Prepares pre-event and post-event (i.e. event briefings, database management, etc.) to ensure successful execution and follow-up.
• Works on data management projects including within our alumni database.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
|
Prior experience in event planning and management, knowledge of Alumni Engagement strategies. Must be available nights and weekends during tenure of employment May 15 - Aug 15
Must be able to lift 25 lbs
Must be enrolled in a matriculated program and registered at least half-time for Fall 2026

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
|
Experience using Canva or any photo/graphic editing system (eg. Photoshop).
The ideal candidate is comfortable with new systems, is well organized, and thorough in their task management
