Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Dean of the Libraries/Assistant Provost of Research and Innovation and the Assistant Dean of Public Services, who will provide priorities for news stories and weekly content for the Provost’s Blast.

• Conduct faculty interviews for news stories and write weekly 900-word internal news stories with headlines in a professional tone, including headlines and photos with each story.

• Search Seton Hall’s internal resources and the internet to find accurate faculty titles, named appointments, past news coverage of assigned story ideas, etc.



Required Qualifications:

• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to:
• Work efficiently
• Work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Synthesize information from across disciplines
• Display professionalism and discretion working with faculty
• Attention to detail
