Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and professional development initiatives.
• Support talent management efforts, including training & development, and employee engagement programs.
• Conduct research and data analysis on HR trends and best practices in higher education.
• Assist with budget preparation, tracking, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with Leadership Teams on planning initiatives, providing research and logistical support.
• Draft reports, presentations, and standard operating procedures as needed.
• Coordinate meetings, maintain records, and support project management efforts.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Fall 2025 Enrollment in a Seton Hall graduate program preferably in Higher Education Administration, Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data management tools.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience or interest in HR, budgeting, or strategic planning in an educational setting is preferred.

Please note:
• This position requires a commitment of 15 hours per week in a hybrid format with a minimum of 10 hours on site weekly during business hours. Remote hours may be completed for research and projects, with permission.
• The position offers a stipend of $5000 paid over 10 month term, August 15 – June 15 and 12 credits tuition remission, 6 in Fall and 6 in Spring
• The appointment is for the 2025-2026 academic year with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability.
