Responsibilities:

• Director of Strategic Communications executes the digital strategy to promote and enhance the reputation of the Buccino Leadership Institute. Responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary team of writers, editors, content creators, and social media platform managers. Responsible for upholding the quality and brand standards across all platforms (website, Instagram, and Twitter).

  • Monitor and assign tasks to team members such as article writing and other content creation tasks
  • Regularly communicate and check-in with social media platform managers
  • Brainstorm social media campaign ideas and weekly article topics for website
  • Represent the Strat Comm Initiative whenever a representative is needed
  • Meet regularly with team members and the Executive Director to establish team goals and expectations
  • Maintain balance of work with each team members' skills, availability, and preferences
  • Perform duties and tasks as directed by the Buccino Leadership Institute Executive Director

Qualifications:

• • Experience working on a communications team for a for-profit/non-profit organization
  • Proficiency in writing and editing
  • Understanding of social media best practices
  • Ability to anticipate and plan for future needs/obstacles
  • Ability to lead a group of peers
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Ability to manage many moving parts and projects
