The First Generation Forward (Gen 1) Program Assistant will assist the program director with oversight and planning of programming including the Peer Mentor program and Gen 1 Summer program. Will be tracking and assessing program initiatives related to the events/workshops, summer program, and Peer Mentor Program. They must have a working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research best practices and ability to create reports and present trends and findings. Program Coordinator is a full-time, temporary position through September 2023.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the development of student support programming, workshops, and summer programming.
Monitor and track student retention and graduation of First-Generation Forward (Gen 1) Program.
Assist in the selection and supervision of Peer Mentors and oversee the Peer Mentor Program
Create assessments and reports for the following: student tutoring, Academic Coaching program, Peer Mentoring program and other duties as assigned.
Ability to interpret data, write reports, identify trends and patterns, and present findings.
Work collaboratively with staff and faculty across the institution.
