The Pro Bono & Outreach Coordinator will develop and implement the Housing Justice Project Pro Bono Program and the Housing Justice Project Outreach Program at the Center for Social Justice.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships through outreach and effective communication with Seton Hall law students, faculty and staff, community groups and organizations, other legal services providers, the judiciary, state agencies, and state, county and affinity bar associations to communicate about Housing Justice Project volunteer opportunities and community outreach.
Develop and implement a community-focused outreach strategy to deepen our connection in the communities we serve, increase access to housing justice, and raise the profile of the organization.
Develop and implement a pro bono strategy to increase access to housing justice and provide a valuable volunteer experience to pro bono participants. Supervise law student volunteer service.
Develop and implement training programs for pro bono students, volunteer attorneys, community organizations and members of the community.
Represent the Housing Justice Project at meetings, training, workshops, bar association events, and community events, some of which will be in the evening or on weekends.
Required Qualifications:
J.D. law degree required
