Duties and Responsibilities:

a. Assist with maintaining the extensive file of the Institute on topics of Jewish-Christian relations.

b. Prepare for lectures, symposia and conference sponsored by the Institute; coordinate last-minute details relating to such events.

c. Proofread texts being prepared for publication, either in book form, as a newspaper column, journal article or bookreview.

d. Assist the Director to prepare for taping of radio programs for "The Kinship of Catholics and Jews" on WSOU. This includes making contact with the engineer and the person being interviewed.

e. Assist cataloguers in the Walsh Library with books printed in Hebrew. Other tasks may be assigned relating to Hebrew. Identify books for purchase relating to Judaeo-Christian Studies.

f. Represent the Institute at events in the local community (such as Holocaust memorial services).

g. Research specific topics for current projects of the Institute under the guidance of the Director.

h. Bring bibliographies up-to-date on themes pertinent to Jewish-Christian relations.



Required Qualifications:

Must be a student in the Graduate Program in Jewish-Christian Studies.
