The School of Health and Medical Sciences (SHMS) at Seton Hall University invites qualified individuals to apply for a full-time, twelve-month faculty position in the Department of Occupational Therapy beginning July 1, 2021. We are a student-centered, dynamic department with a commitment to preparing occupational therapists as servant leaders and interprofessional team members seeking to meet the needs and opportunities of a global society.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include teaching, advising and mentoring students, research, and participation in department, school and university committees as assigned. One of the objectives of the School of Health and Medical Sciences at Seton Hall University is to have a significant national presence in health science education and research. The School of Health and Medical Sciences offers opportunities for collaborative research, teaching, and grant development across a number of disciplines.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensure or eligibility for New Jersey licensure and a minimum of five years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist upon hire.
Desired Qualifications:
- An earned doctoral degree is preferred; those without a terminal degree will be expected to pursue a clinical or research doctorate. Graduate teaching experience and a record of research is preferred.
