Public Safety Officer South Orange
The Public Safety Officer’s primary purpose is to protect life and property. This is accomplished through a variety of tasks including: preventive patrol, reporting suspicious persons/activities, reporting unsafe conditions, providing transportation to students and the enforcement of University’s rules and regulations. Regulate pedestrian and vehicular traffic and provide a security presence for dignitary visits, special events, and sporting events. They complete written reports on all security related matters and provide information and assistance to students, staff and the general public. Finally, they assist South Orange Police, Fire, and Rescue Squad when necessary or as required.
Intake Specialist/Legal Technology Support Newark
The Center for Social Justice provides free legal services to the community while training law students to be ethical and skilled lawyers. The Intake & Legal Technology Specialist coordinates all requests for assistance to the Center for Social Justice, including intake by individuals who come to the office, as well as those who contact the CSJ by phone, mail, and online, and provides resource and referral information to numerous individuals on a daily basis. The Specialist develops and maintains online legal intake and community information materials and assists faculty and students with legal technology software. This individual also provides support as needed to the paralegals, students, and faculty, including assistance with translation/interpretation. Must have excellent organizational, record-keeping and time management skills working in a fast-paced environment Focus of the work will be on housing matters.
Paralegal, Center for Social Justice Newark
The Center for Social Justice operates as a public interest law firm within Seton Hall Law School. The CSJ was recently funded by the Essex County Board of Freeholders to provide legal services to detained immigrants at the Essex County Correctional Facilities. The paralegal will support the work of the new attorney hired to undertake this work, as well as the faculty and students of the Immigrants' Rights Clinic who are assisting detained immigrants with the support of this grant.
PC Support Specialist South Orange
The PC Support Specialist provides expert support to the University user community. The types of support provided includes repairs and replacement of faulty equipment, upgrading computers, installing and supporting of University standard software on desktop and laptop computers as well as providing support for network connectivity and printing on campus/remotely

Collections Metadata Assistant South Orange
The Collections Metadata Assistant will work as a member of the department and is responsible for performing all aspects of processing of materials added to the Library Collections, electronic and physical: acquisitions; maintenance of metadata records and enhancing their quality; updating holdings information; oversees submission process of electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs), ensures ETD adherence to standards and copyright compliance; documentation for processing and metadata routines; participates in departmental or relocation projects and other duties as assigned.
