Duties and Responsibilities:
🔹 Strategic Program Support
Assist in the planning, development, and execution of JAULI programs and initiatives
Support long-term program strategy and implementation
Contribute to leadership development programming for Scholars and Fellows
🔹 Executive-Level Project Support
Work closely with the Executive Director on high-level projects and Institute priorities
Assist with research, briefing materials, and presentations for leadership meetings
Support development of new initiatives and strategic planning efforts
🔹 Generaciones Gala & Advancement Support
Assist with coordination of JAULI’s signature fundraising event
Support outreach efforts for sponsorships and Ad Journal partnerships
Gain exposure to donor engagement, advancement strategy, and event execution
🔹 Partnerships & Institutional Engagement
Support collaboration with campus departments, student organizations, and external partners
Assist in strengthening relationships with alumni, advisory board members, and community stakeholders
🔹 Communications & Operations
Assist with Institute communications, including newsletters, reports, and promotional materials
Support social media strategy and storytelling efforts
Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed
🔹 Student Leadership Oversight
Provide guidance and support to JAULI student workers
Assist in training, onboarding, and development of student leadership team
Help ensure program execution aligns with Institute standards and expectations
Required Qualifications:
Acceptance into a graduate-level program at Seton Hall University.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Availability to work up to 20 hours per week, including occasional evenings for events.
Desired Qualifications:
Interest in higher education administration, nonprofit leadership, or program management
Previous experience in event planning, student leadership, or campus involvement
Experience with research, writing, or developing presentations
Interest in fundraising, advancement, or donor engagement
Strong initiative and ability to take ownership of projects
Experience working with diverse communities and fostering inclusive environments
Familiarity with social media, communications, or marketing tools.
